Creative Minds.
Endava is a public technology company, with over 18 years of experience of working with some of the world’s leading Finance, Insurance, Telecommunications, Media, Technology, and Retail companies.
Creative Minds is an event powered by Endava, dedicated to senior IT professionals in the local market, with the aim to put on the community map exceptional people from Endava or the market and the creative work they do or an unusual approach they bring to the table.
Challenge
The objective was to have an identity refresh and to make the event stand out as a community meetup dedicated to technical topics such as innovation, challenging traditional assumptions, presenting innovation or use the creative use of a technology, proof of concepts, new approaches of technology trends, unusual/intriguing views on tech topics.
What we did
The creative side comes from each speaker’s approach or the topic chosen, not necessarily from the topics being rooted in the creative field (i.e. it’s not target on UX, visual or graphic design or).
After pinpointing the target audience and doing research on all other opportunities that are addressed towards them we started working with the concept by setting out draft ideas for the visual.
Once we had the visual direction and messaging set we moved on to the logo animation, that would be used both for promo and during the actual event.
In order to give a cohesive look and feel and translate the meetups values and purpose we made sure to have all visual aligned, this included: event logo and visual identity, invitation design (for print and digital), animation, menu design, feedback form, Facebook promo visual materials, just to name a few.
